Our speaker for next Monday's meeting at the Commonwealth Club is Ian Meikle. He has been in Canberra for many decades and been involved in the political journalism areana for that time. Ian is someone well worth listening to and I encourage you to come along.
Ian has been an owner and the editor of “CityNews” for a quarter of a century. He has edited “The Advertiser” in Adelaide, “The Australian” in Sydney, was managing director of the “Canberra Times” for a decade and ran Australia’s second-biggest magazine company in Sydney.
"There’s nothing he doesn’t know about news".
He will be discussing his life as a journalist and news editor.
Please register before Friday so we can make sure the Commonwealth Club has the numbers.
