Angelo von Möller: A Federal Youth Parliament

Angelo von Möller is the 37th Deputy Youth Premier of Victoria and has been a member of the Victorian Youth Parliament since 2021.

Angelo was born in Mitcham, Victoria and went to school at Preshil, The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School in Kew, graduating in 2022. Angelo grew up in Donvale in Melbourne as well as his family’s property in Daylesford.

In 2018 Angelo joined the National Gallery of Victoria’s Teen Council and in 2019 was appointed to the Heide Museum of Modern Art’s Youth Advisory Committee which he served until 2023.

Angelo studied a course in Art Crime and Art Law at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art via New York and units in Psychology at University College London.

Angelo represented Boroondara in the Victorian Youth Parliament from 2021 to November 2022 before returning to the Youth Parliament representing Geelong in April 2023. Angelo was elected as the Deputy Youth Premier.

Angelo is currently studying a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (Majoring in Government and Policy) and a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Culture and Heritage) at the University of Canberra in the ACT since February 2023.

In May 2023, Angelo was appointed onto the United States Embassy’s Youth Council. Angelo was due to interview U.S President Joe Biden at the QUAD Summit in Sydney for SIX News however the Summit was cancelled due to domestic issues in the US.

Angelo has been pushing for a Federal Youth Parliament, having meetings with the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader, Ministers and members of the cross bench among many others.
