On Monday 24th June, President Shawn Wilson handed over the role of President to incoming President Ash Marshall.
President Shawn summarised his year and presented a number of awards to Club members (see separate story).
As we approach the end of the Rotary year, it is essential we reflect on the progress and growth of our Club. With only two months remaining, it is essential that we energise ourselves by the transformations taking place, both in our club and the district.
In the past month, we've welcomed three new members, enriching our collective vision and expanding our capacity to serve. Newly acquired enthusiasm and dedication are invaluable assets as we continue to evolve as a club.
We must harness our new energy and move into a position of strength as our District and volunteering organisations more broadly enter a period of great uncertainty.
Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate supporting Ashley Marshall as he steps into the role of President for the next Rotary year. Already, his work in the Club Service role is making an excellent impact and setting our Club up for success next Rotary year.
I want to thank all members and the Board for their support and commitment to our Club.
Let's embrace the remaining months with renewed vigour, united in our mission to make a difference and continue to leave a lasting legacy of service and goodwill here in Canberra and beyond.
