Curveball: A Lesson in Critical Thinking in the Era of Artificial IntelligenceIn the late 1990s, a man named Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi—later codenamed "Curveball"—set in motion a chain of events that would reshape the world. Al-Janabi’s claims became a cornerstone of the U.S. rationale for the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
But Al-Janabi has now admitted that much of what he said were lies. What was absent was critical examination of his claims - a skill that is increasingly necessary in the age of AI.
Please RSVP before 5pm Friday, 18 October to confirm your seat.
